The National Piping Centre are a great example of how to implement green transport initiatives into your organisation. By only providing expenses to volunteers and staff who chose more sustainable travel options, they were encouraged to commute by bike, bus or train instead of car. The organisation also removed onsite car parking perks for staff members without access requirements to further disincentivise car travel.

The National Piping Centre worked with the local bus operators to ensure travel capacity was increased for high volume events and they are hoping to secure their first partnership agreement to provide free bus travel to their flagship music festival in August 2025.
