Circular Glasgow is proud to sponsor the Circular Breakthrough category in The Herald’s second Global Game Changers Awards, in partnership with Innovators Magazine and supported by BAE Systems, the Centre for Work-based Learning, City of Glasgow College and Scottish Power.

The awards recognise and reward innovation and sustainability at an international level, while also highlighting the opportunities and challenges faced across all business sectors.  The Circular Breakthrough category specifically recognises organisations that have excelled in delivering significant business impact through the adoption of circular economy principals, creating sustainable future economies for generations to come.

If you’re able to demonstrate how your product or service helps to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy, establishing a more sustainable way of doing business – why not submit an entry today? It could be anything from circular product design and innovation; re-use, repair, remanufacturing to effective supply chain and cross-sector collaboration; incorporating design thinking, digital technology and/or adopting resource efficiency.  Deadline for entrants is Thursday August 2, 2018, with the Award Event on Wednesday September 12, 2018.

Circular Glasgow is also thrilled to support The Glasgow Business Awards, sponsoring this year’s Innovation in Business category.  We have been delighted by the number of strong submissions and look forward to compiling a list of shortlistees later this month.  Not to be missed, make sure you have a note of the event date in your diary – Thursday October 4, 2018.
