June Circular Mixer
26 June 2026
2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us for our June Circular Mixer, bringing together people from across sectors to swap ideas, share resources and accelerate Glasgow’s transition to a circular economy.
Our Circular Mixer series, hosted at Material Source Studio and in partnership with Harley Haddow, are a fantastic opportunity to engage with fellow business professionals and deepen your understanding of how the circular economy can contribute to business growth and support the city’s climate objectives.
We’ll be joined by guest speaker Ben Raw, founder of Hope in Place CIC, a Glasgow-based organisation focused on turning climate ambition into practical, place-based action.
Working across the built environment, community development and circular economy, Ben brings together public, private and community partners to deliver projects that respond to both the climate crisis and everyday needs. His work focuses on creating visible, hands-on interventions that demonstrate how sustainability can improve places, support local economies and open up pathways into green jobs.
Hope in Place sits within the wider Civic (built environment consultants) ecosystem, enabling the organisation to bridge strategy and delivery. Recent projects include the development of modular raingarden parklets made from 100% recycled materials, co-designed and built with local communities and partners including the Scottish Prison Service, as well as active travel initiatives that connect people to more sustainable ways of moving around their neighbourhoods.
Ben’s approach is rooted in the belief that the transition to a circular economy must be inclusive, practical and locally grounded. He is particularly focused on ensuring that communities who are often excluded from the green economy are central to shaping and benefiting from it.
This interactive event gives you a chance to hear from guest speakers who are experts in their fields, network with potential collaborators and turn ideas into action.
