There has been a lot of debate about the circular economy as a solution to many of the challenges businesses are facing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic such as the reliance on and the vulnerability of global supply chains. Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has been committed to working towards a circular economy for the city with our partners and believes it can play an instrumental role in progressing towards economic recovery: particularly mindful of unlocking innovative solutions for businesses. The circular economy is a £3 billion opportunity in Scotland and one helping businesses to support their bottom line as well as improving their environmental performance.
