A circular solution for furniture and household goods

Total Homes Co-operative is a social enterprise based in Glasgow that supports the circular economy in Scotland. They collect furniture and household goods that would otherwise be sent to landfill, and recycle, upcycle and reuse them. Working with housing associations and landlords across the city, they aim to support the Scottish Government targets to reduce CO2 emissions.

Investing in the future

At the Circular Economy Hotspot Scotland conference in October 2018, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced Total Homes as 1 of 3 businesses to receive a share of £700k worth of circular economy funding. This funding will help to achieve their aim of setting the benchmark for sustainable housing collection services.
